Raft the Rio Bravo

Event Description:

Get ready to raft (or float, sometimes walk) the Rio Bravo for Latino Conservation Week!
Friends of Organ Mountains, the Nuestra Tierra Conservation Project, Latino Outdoors and Hispanic Access Foundation have teamed up to sponsor another awesome trip down the Rio Bravo to honor the contributions of the Hispanic/Latinx community to conservation efforts across the country, and to get out and enjoy nature.

Please RSVP below by Monday, July 1. We are capped at 30 participants, so RSVP sooner than later!

We will provide a float, paddles, lunch, and a good time.

You should plan on bringing sunscreen, huaraches (or your water shoes of choice), agua, a towel, and shades. We will have have a community "cooler" for all your beverages.

Before we launch, we will be learning about the history of the Robledo Mountains, the human habitation of the Rio Bravo in southern New Mexico, and some recent wins for creating equity in outdoor recreation.
