Event Description:

Music at the Monument is a nonprofit that offers a concert series in our National Parks and Monuments, performing outreach to local communities. The concert series brings an opportunity to improve access for minority populations who use infrequently our National Parks and Monuments, as well as other priority populations (veterans, youth and seniors). The musical jam sessions achieve these goals by featuring musicians that, after performing, spread the word about the meaning of National Parks as they perform throughout the country. In addition, these concerts feature both local and national performing artists that encourage diverse populations to come to the National Mall. During the 2018 concert season, the Music at the Monument concerts will be held in front of the Lincoln Memorial.

On July 20th, stop by the Lincoln Memorial for some SALSA in celebration of Latino Conservation Week! Check out a performance by Salsa with Silvia, and then join in on the fun!
