Event Description:
Raw Figs, a donation-based, figure drawing pop-up, will be at Viscaya Farmer’s Market sharing Puerto Rican culture with Bilingual Signage.
A family-friendly event, open to the public, we will draw a model dressed in customary Puerto Rican clothes for an hour. Drawing materials will be provided on a first come first serve basis.
‘En Plein Air’ will be providing a canvas for everyone to collaborate on and 2 Latino musicians will be playing Latin Jazz during the session.
When the drawing/painting session ends, Mofongo de Plena will play music, provide free limber (Puerto Rican ice cream), and flyers sharing some history and facts about the island.
