Event Description:
Are you looking for a job in conservation or with federal government land management agencies like the Fish and Wildlife Service or the National Park Service? Do you have questions about what the jobs are like? Or how to get started?
Meet park rangers Nancy and Julie, two Latinas who work for the San Diego National Wildlife Refuge Complex in California. During this Facebook Live event you’ll have the opportunity to ask them questions about their jobs, working in the conservation field, and the San Diego NWRC. They’ll share their personal experiences navigating the field as Latinas. They’ll also include information on internships, applying for federal jobs, and other helpful tips.
